After much consideration, the KGH Foundation has made the difficult decision to postpone the 1st Annual JoeAnna’s House Family Picnic to late spring/early summer 2027.

Over the past week, we have been closely monitoring the wildfire situation, air quality, weather forecast, and overall community impact across our region. While this decision was not made lightly, we do not feel this is the right time to host the picnic in the way it was intended.

The JoeAnna’s House Family Picnic was created to gather for good, to bring families, neighbours, partners, volunteers, and supporters together for a joyful afternoon in support of JoeAnna’s House. With this being a new event, it is important to us that our community has the opportunity to experience it fully, with the energy, and spirit it deserves.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has already supported this event, including our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, partners, donors, and community members. Your enthusiasm and generosity have shown us what is possible when people come together around JoeAnna’s House.

An official JoeAnna’s House expansion housewarming celebration will still take place this fall, with more details to come.
